The best notch app is back—with updates for your Mac. Music, calendar, notes, tasks and files, right in your Mac’s notch.

NotchNook is a notch app for Mac, developed and sold by lo.cafe Ltda. Hover over or click the notch and the Nook opens with music controls, your calendar, notes, a to-do list, timers, a camera mirror and your Shortcuts. Drag a file toward the notch to keep it in the Tray across apps, desktops and restarts, or send it with AirDrop. Live activities show battery, Bluetooth and upcoming calendar events at a glance.

The Timer widget has scrollable wheels and haptics. Tasks support favorites and auto-archive, and the media panel includes a source picker and a draggable scrubber. On Macs without a notch, a slim handle at the top of the screen opens the same Nook. Requires macOS 14.6 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel Macs.

Try every feature free for 48 hours, no card required. Current plans are US$2/month while the subscription stays active, or US$15 for a lifetime license. Each plan covers two Macs.
